The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-bestCriollos ' (11-7) road loss to first ranked Vaqueros (13-9) 80-107 on Tuesday. Bayamon looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a great evening for American Jaylin Galloway (198-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Gary Browne (185-1993, college: WVU) helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Moses Brown (218-1999, college: UCLA) with 23 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Travis Trice II (183-1993, college: Michigan St.) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bayamon and four Caguas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-9 record. Loser Criollos keep the second position with seven games lost.
